Very pretty chair.

This chair is 100% worth the wait. It has such an elegant form and works in virtually any space I put it in and it gives me really nice support to kick back and read a book or have a conversation with friends in my living room. I want a million more Perry Chairs! I love it when my guests notice this chair and I tell everyone they have to have it!

I got the Perry in seal leather and matching stool. It is super solid and looks great. It wasn’t delayed much from COVID and they always kept you abreast of the timing. I’m so pleased with the purchase!

We love our Perry chair with white shearling. It is so cozy and fluffy and soft. The quality is wonderful—it is an incredibly solid piece, which you can tell whenever you sit down. My husband even noticed how solid it was immediately and he does not notice that type of thing. I was worried that it would be too petite, but it actually fits our living room perfectly. With that said, we don’t have a huge sprawling and open living room. It is a cozy and fairly compact living room. So while the chair is petite it is not tiny but also not a giant arm chair that would be the cornerstone of a huge room. Definitely measure and understand how the size works for you.

I'm very happy with how this chair turned out. I ordered the blue mohair and it's so soft and rich feeling. I'd say the chair is slightly on the petite side, which worked out for me since I'm small, but maybe a little too petite for a larger person. That said, very comfortable and I'd buy it again!

Great chair - for a guest room, so small and neat enough not to take up too much space, expertly made and the feet are adjustable so if the chair is half on /half off a rug, it's easy to adjust so it doesn't wobble. Great service!

Our Perry Chair surpassed our expectations! Honestly, my husband wasn't on board when I first ordered it, but it's my chair, and he figured he just wouldn't use it. But now, anytime I'm not in it, he's sitting in it! We both love it. It's firm and designed so well ergonomically, we find it incredibly comfortable. We use it with a 19" high pouf and could just sit in it all day. It's a beautiful, high quality chair, too. Delivery experience was perfect. Super pleased all around!

I know nubuck is not the most practical fabric but I really fell in love with the swatch and the full scale version on our 2 perry chairs does not disappoint! Absolutely beautiful occasional chairs and exactly what we were looking for in our den. I'm being careful to not let my kids or dog around them but we get so many compliments on these chairs and the nubuck in particular. I wish there was an ottoman for these chairs as I'd use them more for reading if I could put my feet up!

Hi, I purchased the Perry in Pebble Performance Basketweave (which is one of my favorite fabrics!) for my bedroom. It is a perfect size - not too big - not too small. I have purcahsed wuite a few pieces from Maiden Home but this is my first Perry. It looks beautiful near an Ash Leather Essex Bed. Thank you!

Having never purchased furniture online before, I was a bit stressed waiting for our Carmine sofa and Perry chair to arrive. We had just had our living room painted, and I was sure the Flax color in Performance Textured Linen for the sofa with the Olive color in Performance Velvet would work. They are perfect! Our living room space is small, so the Perry chair fits just right. Did have to get used to the new velvet gas off smell, but it seems to be dissipating. Both are elegant, good quality upgrades and quite comfortable for the price.

LOVE MY NEW PERRY SHEEPSKIN CHAIRS. THEY ARE EXCELLENT QUALITY AND SITTING IN THEM IS LIKE GETTING A HUG FROM A TEDDY BEAR. I BOUGHT 2 FOR A SMALL TOWNHOUSE AND THE SCALE IS JUST RIGHT. I HAVE THEM SIDE BY SIDE. ONE FOR MY DACHSHUND AND ONE FOR ME. I WILL PROBABLY HAVE LINEN SLIPCOVERS PUT ON THEM FOR THE SPRING AND SUMMER, BUT FOR NOW, I AM ENJOYING THEM IMMENSELY IN FRONT OF MY FIREPLACE WITH MY FEET PROPPED UP ON A LEATHER OTTOMAN COVERED WITH TWO MAGNIFICENT WHITE REINDEER PELTS, COZY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. THESE LOVELY CHAIRS WILL TAKE THE CHILL OFF ANY ABODE AND WOULD BE FANTASTIC FOR A SKI LODGE OR MOUNTAIN CABIN.

The mohair is so rich both in color and texture. the shape is perfect for our mini seating area in the foyer. Helps set a little mood in an area we had a lot of trouble figuring out how to style and make come to life. Gorgeous lines and proportions but the fabric makes it all work.

I love this chair. Its just so charming and unique and cozy to sit in.

And most anything else! The low profile fits in small areas while still providing ample room to fold your legs up and nap:) The best chair i've ever bought:)

I purchased two Perry chairs for my living room. They are beautifully upholstered and look great side by side. They’re a little smaller than I imagined and yes they measure exactly to the dimensions listed. I have other Maiden Home upholstered pieces and have never been disappointed.

I ordered two of the Perry chairs in the sandstone shearling and I LOVE them! Amazing price for a currently popular chair. The chairs are a heavier good quality chair and extremely comfortable. Even during the slow shipping times that are happening my chairs arrived sooner than expected! From ordering swatches to delivery this was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had.

The chair is great. I was worried about buying online without being able to sit in it first but it more than met my expectations in comfort and style.

Perfect accent chair pair for a nook with a small cocktail table in between. The mohair was more pricey than the velvet but worth it for us.

I ordered a set of the Perry chairs in sandstone shearling and they are amazing. It’s scary ordering furniture online but the quality is the best of the any furniture I own. If you’re looking for that insanely popular Sherpa style for a great price and quality.. these are the chairs.

My two Perry chairs are just beautiful. It was worth the wait. It took forever to get them, but I was kept informed about the delay. The shearling is so soft and such a unique look. The chair itself is rather firm.

I bought these chairs a year and a half ago in the cider performance velvet and they are both stunning and comfortable. BUT they arrived with a distinct smell of dust/smoke...that still has not fully gone away after lots of vacuuming and deodorizing. All in all, I'm still glad I bought them, but if I had more spare time I would have tried to return them for less stinky replacements.

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love the design of these chairs. The fabric swatches were all so sumptuous, you really can't go wrong with whichever you pick. I ordered two Perry velvet chairs in the Cider color. The silhouette of the chairs is great but the chairs were very messily made and I can't unsee all of the sloppy finishes. I can't upload any photos but the bottom batting was kept on in excess and spills over onto the legs of the chair in a way I'll never be able to fix. So whenever I see these chairs (often,) I am struck by the black fabric hanging below the velvet and coming onto the legs like a messy hemline. It looks very cheap. Unfortunately, I didn't spot this in time during delivery, so I'm just stuck. Furthermore, it is so obvious that only one chair has been used as the fabric is already beginning to pucker. No one who has used the chair has sat there longer than an hour and everyone has weighed under 180 lbs. Massively disappointed as the chairs are such a unique design and the materials are otherwise fantastic. I hope Maiden Home will push their "maker partners" for better QC control as I've never had an issue like this from Sixpenny, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Ethan Allen, or even Ikea.

We purchased 2 Perry chairs and besides taking 3 months to deliver they are very uncomfortable. For nearly $2k per chair I expected much more out of these. One of the chairs has fabric issues where it wasn't pulled and tacked very precisely so that looks awful as well. Buyer beware!

Let me start with the good. Earlier this year I purchased the Carmine Sofa, Mott Stool, and Perry Chair from Maiden Home. I cannot say enough about the sofa - it's comfortable and just beautiful to look at, and the Mott Stool is the perfect marriage of form and function, The Perry chair is pretty as well, but its attributes end there. I get that it's an occasional chair, but it's the most uncomfortable living room chair I've ever sat in. It's not "extremely comfortable," nor can you "fold your legs up and take a nap" or "feel like you're getting a hug from a teddy bear" as some reviewers stated. It's hard and definitely not designed for comfort. But that's not all of it. My chair is upholstered in the mohair fabric in mink, which is showing significant wear after very little use. I've never posted a review, much less a negative one. I'm 5'4" 125 lbs. so it's not that I'm a larger person expecting to be comfortable in a petite chair. This chair was a huge purchase for me and I'm heartsick over it. I wondered why there were so few reviews for such a cute and trendy chair. Now I know why.

We previously ordered two couches from Maiden Home and were happy with our experience. We later decided to purchase an additional chair for our living room. I was choosing between chairs from multiple websites and ultimately went with the perry chair due to more the favorable delivery window compared to other stores (when browsing the website, they advertised an est. timeframe of 4-6 weeks). My order was placed on 9/2/22. Unfortunately, after purchase was made, the expected delivery date emailed to me was 11/9-11/23, a window of 9-11 weeks. It didn't sit well with me that the advertised timeframe nearly doubled after I had made payment - seems like a bait and switch to lock you into the purchase prior to receiving a more realistic timeframe. However, since the timing on our couches were delivered earlier than expected, I decided to wait in the hopes that the chair would again come sooner than estimated and more within the 4–6-week window. Not only was I incorrect, but due to an issue with the fabric in our chair, the timing was again pushed out further. At this point I spoke with customer service to try and cancel my order, in which I was told that I would have to incur a fee to do so and didn't seem to believe me when explaining that the advertised window was different from the window given after purchasing. I would suggest that Maiden Home take more accountability in the timing advertised vs. received after purchase and acknowledge that a misleading timeframe can alter a customer's ability to want the product and willingness to make purchases from Maiden Home in the future.
