The Fragment Collection
A series of tables as profound in form as they are in material.
With the Fragment Collection, we envisioned monolithic silhouettes that ground the spaces they inhabit. Each crafted by artisans in Rome who have mastered the art of working with cement, a material that reflects the same strength as the forms themselves.
They hand-mix the material using sand from the Tiber River, which flows directly through their studio, adding pigment to the mixture to achieve two distinct hues—Praline, a warm neutral, and Stratus, a deep grey. Then, they pour it into our custom molds. As it cures, the material reveals textural and tonal variations that can only come from the river's mineral composition.
The final products are striking displays of material artistry and form.
The Fragment Collection comprises a dining table, coffee table, and console table.
